The 2013 Sunshine Stampede Rodeo has been cancelled.

The 2013 Sunshine Stampede was suspended this year due to the loss of our 501(c)(3) IRS Federal charitable status. In order to produce the Sunshine Stampede we rely on tax deductible donations from individuals, large and small corporations and fund-raising efforts, Then the proceeds after all expenses are paid are donated to local charities. To put on the Stampede is no small task, it entails more than $70,000 and a group of over 50 people to produce it and without the 501(c)(3) tax designation, many other corporations are limited in what they are able to donate to non tax exempt organizations, if at all. Our executive board has been working diligently with the IRS to correct the issue to have our 501(c)(3) reinstated, and it should be completed shortly and plans for the 2014 Sunshine Stampede are already gearing up. We hope to see you then, as well as see you out at events local supporting FGRA. Your membership and your participation in FGRA is the lifeblood of this organization, which produces the Sunshine Stampede Rodeo.
